Man Rescued from Red River in Metro After Yelling For Help Around 5 AM

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A man ends up in the Red River below the Center Avenue Bridge and yells for help.

A person on the walking path heard the man and called 9-1-1 shortly after 5 o’clock this morning.

Moorhead police and fire crews responded quickly to the site.

Police were able to pull the man to the riverbank.

He was taken to a Fargo hospital suffering from hypothermia.
