FARGO (KFGO) – Two people are in the Cass County Jail for burglary, trespassing, and other offenses after officers found them in a south Fargo apartment they didn’t have permission to be in Wednesday afternoon.

According to Fargo Police, the tenant wasn’t home at the time, but was alerted by a family member who asked if anyone should be in the apartment. The tenant called police who found a broken window and the front door locked.

While officers were trying to talk to the people in the apartment, police say 31-year-old Essence Marchaud tried to crawl out a broken window. Officers found four other people in the apartment.

Marchaud, who has no permanent address, was arrested for hindering law enforcement, trespassing, and an outstanding warrant. Lee Fry, 33 and of Moorhead, was arrested for burglary and possessing drug paraphernalia.
