Former Bison, Super Bowl champion retires from the NFL

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Former North Dakota State University Bison football player and Super Bowl champion has retired from the National Football League. Joe Haeg announced on X (formerly Twitter)that after seven years playing professional football he was looking forward to what life holds.

Haeg won five FCS national championships playing for the Bison, was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and won Super Bowl 55 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Brainerd, Minn. native played for the Colts, Bucs, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns in his career.
