BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — North Dakota Public Service Commission Chair Julie Fedorchak kicks-off her U.S. House campaign at a rally in Bismarck and she was introduced by former North Dakota Gov. Ed Schafer.

Fedorchak says if elected, she wants to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee.

She will seek the nod at the Republican state convention in early April.

But her name will be on the primary ballot even if she doesn’t get the party’s endorsement.

Fellow Republicans Rick Becker and Tom Campbell are also running along with Democrat Trygve Hammer.

Cass County District Court Judge Wade Webb is also considering a run for Congress.

Current Republican Rep. Kelly Armstrong is running for governor of North Dakota.
