Region 1 and 2 Tournament Scores and Highlights

FARGO, N.D. — The road to State continues with the Region One and Two Tournaments tipping off Monday night in Fargo. In the Region One Tournament Northern Cass defeated Central Cass, 63-40. The Northern Cass Jaguars will advance to take on Kindred tomorrow night. In game number two, Valley City defeated Lisbon, 53-31. In the final game of the night Wahpeton won a close game over Oak Grove, 43-41.

The semifinals will be Tuesday night with Kindred and Northern Cass tipping off at 6:00 PM. Game two will tip off twenty minutes after the game and will be playeed between Wahpeton and Valley City. The Championship game will be Wednesday night.

Meanwhile in the Region Two Tournament, Four Winds/Minnewaukan defeated Grafton, 53-33 and Carrington defeated Hillsboro CV 59-39. The Thompson Tommies and the Devils Lake Firebirds each have first round byes and will take on the winner of Monday night’s games. Thompson will play Four Winds/Minnewaukan in tomorrow night’s first game set to tip off at 5:30 pm The final game of the night from Mayville State will be played between Carrington and Devils Lake 2o minutes after the conclusion of the first matchup. The championship game will be played Thursday night.
