Fargo man arrested after leading ND State Trooper on chase

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) – A man was arrested after fleeing a State Trooper in North Fargo early this morning.

Around 2 a.m. as the trooper attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver fled for a short distance and then ran on foot towards a residence in the 2200 block of 9th Street North, just off 19th Avenue North.

The trooper detained the suspect until Fargo police officers and Cass County sheriff’s deputies arrived to take the suspect into custody.

Michael Swanson of Fargo is facing charges of DUI, DUI refusal, driving under revocation, resisting arrest, and fleeing.
