Kindred Boys Basketball Wins DJ Colter High School Play of the Week
Jake Starcevic and Brooks Bakko Connect for Colter POTW
FARGO, N.D. — The Kindred Vikings put on a show all year were no strangers to winning play of the week honor this basketball season. This week’s DJ Colter High School Play of the Week goes to the Kindred Boys Basketball team one last time for the season and is easily one of the greatest plays from North Dakota’s High School Basketball season.
Kindred took on Killdeer in the opening round of North Dakota Class A Basketball State Tournament. Jake Starcevic anticipated a Cowboys’ pass, came away with the steal, stayed in bounds, and pushed the pace to lead the Vikings down the floor. Running with him was Brooks Bakko; Starcevic lobbed up an alley-oop to Bakko who finished off the play with an emphatic two-handed slam over the heads of the Killdeer defense.
Congratulations to Starcevic, Bakko, and the Vikings on winning this week’s DJ Colter High School Play of the Week.
