North Dakota State Advances to Super 16 in WNIT

Bison Beat Lady Griz In Round 2 of the WNIT

FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota State handled their business and earned the win in the second round of the WNIT defeating Montana 72-63. The Bison dominated the glass, outrebounding the Grizzlies 46-25. The Bison also got to the free throw line 18 times and converted on 17 attempts from the stripe.

Three Bison scored in double figures in the win; Abbey Draper led the team with 18 points and seven rebounds. Elle Evans scored 17, had four rebounds, while making plays on defense as well with two blocks and a steal. Abbey Schutle played a well balanced and impactful game with 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

NDSU now moves on to the Super 16 where they will face the winner of Tuesdays game between Minnesota and Pacific.
