No Final Decision On Allowing Greek Clubs To Hold End-of-Year Event Near UND

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A planned end-of-the-year bash by Sigma Chi and Sigma Nu at UND has been given a preliminary thumbs down by the Grand Forks City Council.
The Greek organizations want to fence off their front yards for a music-filled event on May 3.
The number of students attending the event would be capped at 1,000.
Several council members say they received complaints about trash and noise during past events.
A letter from UND Police also expressed concerns with the application.
The city council will take one last look at the event next week.
