Driver severely injured after hitting bridge pillar along highway

A man has severe injuries after crashing head-on into a bridge pillar along I-29

REYNOLDS, N.D. (KVRR) – A man has severe injuries after crashing head-on into a bridge pillar along I-29.

The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m. Monday on southbound I-29 near Reynolds.
A 51-year-old man from Crookston drove off the highway and hit the pillar.
An ambulance took him to Altru with serious injuries.
He was not wearing a seatbelt.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says they will release the man’s name later. The crash and any potential charges are still under investigation.
