Man Arrested For Taking Money from Starbucks Cash Register in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) —  Moorhead Police are investigating a theft at Starbucks on Highway 10 and 32nd Avenue.

It happened around 7 p.m.

They say an employee left the cash register open and a man grabbed the cash out of the till and ran out of the store.

Police say 52-year-old Abraham Cozzi got in a vehicle which was stopped by a PIT maneuver in the 2400 block of 20th Street South.

Cozzi, who has no permanent address, was taken into custody.

Cozzi is being held at the Clay County Jail for felony fleeing in motor vehicle and misdemeanor theft.
