SWAT training this week near road closure in Moorhead

Red River Valley SWAT will be training in the area of 11th Street and Main Avenue in Moorhead from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – SWAT members are using the area near a road closure for some training this week.

Red River Valley SWAT will be training in the area of 11th Street and Main Avenue in Moorhead from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday.
Officers will have firearms visible, but they will not be using live rounds.
People may also hear yelling and loud noises at the scene. Law enforcement vehicles will have their emergency lights on as well.
11th Street is closed between Main Avenue and 2nd Avenue North right now as part of the 11th Street underpass project.
