Local schools team up to fill the void of Tri-College closure

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Three local schools are teaming up to fill the void left behind by the closure of Tri-College University. NDSU, Concordia and MSUM are hosting high school counselors from the Twin Cities to visit each campus and experience the region.

Admission teams from each university are offering up campus tours, panel discussions and a meal. The goal is to increase awareness of the Fargo-Moorhead community and the education offerings in the local metro.

“I think all of our goals in higher ed to support students and to help them know what their offerings are. There are so many choices when it comes to college and when it comes to finding the best fit.” said Anne Johnson, the NDSU Associate Director of Admissions.

The tours are set to run on Thursday and Friday to showcase the region.
