Multiple gunshots reported near Island Park, police investigating

FARGO (KVRR) – Fargo police responded to a report of gunshots in the area surrounding Island Park late Monday afternoon.

Officers searched the area in the 300 block of 7th Street South, but couldn’t find evidence of shots fired or anyone who may have been involved.

A man who lives in the neighborhood tells KVRR News that multiple shots were fired. “It was a pop, pop, pop, pop, pop sound,” the man said. The resident said he wanted to remain anonymous.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
