NDSU WR Eli Green Enters Transfer Portal

GREEN WILL HAVE TWO YEARS OF ELIGIBILITY REMAINING.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)–Standout North Dakota State Wide Receiver Eli Green is reportedly entering the transfer portal, according to Pete Nakos of On3sports.

The Farmington, Minnesota native spent the last three seasons with the Bison. Green redshirted his first year before playing in 12 games his freshman season in 2022.

Last season, Green recorded 45 receptions, 877 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Herd. The 5-11 receiver will have two years of eligibility remaining wherever he chooses as his new home.

With Green’s departure and Zach Mathis heading to an NFL tryout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NDSU is now without their top two pass catchers from a season ago.
