Union Rejects Latest Contract Offer From Case-New Holland in Fargo

Case New Holland

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — The union representing workers at Case-New Holland manufacturing plant in Fargo has overwhelmingly rejected the company’s latest contract offer.

Nearly 700 members of IAM Local 2525 turned down the offer.

The current contract has been extended until Friday.

Union business agent Jeremy Pearson says negotiators are seeking better pay, improved healthcare coverage and job security.

“The dedication and contributions of our members form the backbone of this company,” said Pearson. “We stand united in our pursuit of substantial improvements in wages and benefits that accurately reflect their invaluable efforts with economic stability, job security, and a semblance of work-life balance.”

He says employees feel they are undervalued and under-appreciated.

The company has not responded to a request for comment.

The expiring contract was for six years.
