FARGO (KVRR) – The NDSU Bison softball program will be on the road this week for their final regular season series when they take on conference foes in South Dakota.

The Bison are looking to bounce back from a series loss to Kansas City, and will face a South Dakota squad who is also at the bottom of the standings in the Summit League.

Head Coach Darren Mueller says he wants to see the team put it all together in this final series before the team heads off to the conference tournament.

“Thing this year we’ve noticed is we’re growing at different times and we’re just not clicking at the same time,” said Head Coach Darren Mueller. “But we’ve had all of our freshmen, sophomores, even our upperclassmen, but of course our freshmen and sophomores, they’ve all had little pockets of playing really well. That’s the part of being young. Just not getting that consistency where we’re putting it together. Hoping to get that stuff to go forward this weekend. We know they have it in them, we talk about it with them. But it’s a matter of putting it together at the same time.”

The Bison will face South Dakota in a 3-game series with Game 1 set for Friday 12 P.M. in Vermillion, SD.
