Man killed in farming accident north of Parkers Prairie

PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. (KVRR) — A man is killed in a farm accident in Otter Tail County.

The sheriff’s office says it happened north of Parkers Prairie around 1:30 this afternoon.

A 28-year-old man was working with others to fix a piece of tillage equipment when part of it fell on top of him.

Life saving efforts were performed but he died at the scene.

The name of the victim is being held at this time while relatives are told.

The Parkers Prairie Fire Department along with the Parkers Prairie and North Ambulance responded.
