FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A woman has life-threatening injuries after a vehicle hit her on 13th Ave. S. under the I-29 overpass in Fargo.

Fargo Fire Department, Fargo Police, and North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the incident just before 6 P.M. Sunday near West Acres Mall.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Andin Schaffer of Moorhead hit a 41-year-old woman who was jaywalking across 13th Avenue South under I-29.

When they arrived on the scene the woman was unconscious. She was taken to Sanford with life-threatening injuries.

Andin was arrested for an outstanding warrant in Cass County for assault.
