Garage Fire 051424

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Crews were called to a car fire at an apartment building at 2602 18th Street South in Fargo just before noon.

As they were on their way, the call was upgraded to a garage on fire.

Fargo Fire Battalion Chief Joe Mangin says the fire had spread from the car to connecting garages.

That car was destroyed and a second car was heavily damaged.

No one was hurt in the fire and Mangin says no one will be displaced.

Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.

Damage estimates are not yet available.

The cause is under investigation.
