F-M International Potluck hosts grilling and BBQ event

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Fargo-Moorhead International Potluck held their May Potluck on Sunday.

The International Potluck holds monthly events featuring foods from different cultures. 

This month’s event was themed around grilling and barbequing, and featured food from Maria’s Homestyle Mexican as well as demonstrations by the NDSU BBQ Boot Camp.

One young man at the event was excited to grab a taste of the al pastor tacos being cooked up at the event.

“I thought it was a regular service, and then I saw all this outside so then I started asking around and I heard that they were having a potluck, so I stayed.”

Event organizer Peter Schott says that they are always looking for new volunteers to help with the potluck events.
