Caller claims ‘murder suicide’ would take place at Cass County Couthouse

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after the Red River Regional Dispatch Center received an anonymous phone call Monday morning saying there would be a murder-suicide at the Cass County Courthouse in Fargo

FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after the Red River Regional Dispatch Center received an anonymous phone call Monday morning saying there would be a murder-suicide at the Cass County Courthouse in Fargo. The caller then hung up.

Due to the anonymous nature of the phone call, the sheriff’s office has not substantiated the validity of the claim.

Sheriff Jesse Jahner notified courthouse personnel of the comment and is working with county administrators to ensure that the courthouse remains safe and productive for the public and employees.
