Loaf N’ Jug stores acquired by Texas company

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – Houston-based BreakTime Corner Market, known as BTCM, has purchased 23 Loaf N’ Jug stores in North Dakota and Montana from EG America. 14 of those are in North Dakota. Four stores are located in Fargo.
Bret Sullivan, regional operations director for BTCM, has been in Fargo this week as crews briefly closed the stores while new equipment was installed and have reopened for business as of Friday.
He says customers will notice that BreakTime Cormer Market stores operate with more variety. He says they’re known to find products made in the area that can be sold at BreakTime, something that other stores may not carry.
Sullivan says the Loaf N’ Jug signs will be on the stores for several weeks before transitioning to new BreakTime Corner Market signs. Some cosmetic changes may also be noticed at some of the locations.
With the acquisitions, BTCM will own about 175 convenience stores nationwide.
