Man arrested for early morning fight involving a hatchet in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — One man in Grand Forks is arrested for allegedly attacking another man with a hatchet and later firing multiple gunshots in his home.

Police arrested 21-year-old Jayden Lloyd on multiple charges early Saturday morning.

Before 4 a.m., officers responded to a man who has been assaulted with a hatchet. He was taken to Altru with non-life threatening injuries.

Lloyd and a female witness took off to their home at 506 Oak Street. When officers got there, they saw Lloyd firing a handgun inside.

At least two rounds went into a neighbor’s house.

No one else was injured.
