Court Records: Man Involved In Crash Near GF Airport Failed Breath Tests

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Court records show the Fordville, North Dakota man arrested after a crash near Grand Forks International Airport Monday night was over the legal limit for alcohol.
43-year-old Travis Bell is charged with criminal vehicular injury.
He crashed into a vehicle stopped at a red light at Highway 2 and Airport Road, seriously injuring a Grand Forks Air Force Base woman and young boy.
A trooper says Bell told him he thought he had a green light, but didn’t remember much.
The trooper gave Bell three breath tests reading between .12 and .13.
The legal limit for driving is .08.
26-year-old Nicole Louthain of Grand Forks Air Force Base was taken to Altru Hospital.
The 6-year-old child was flown to a Fargo hospital.
