Minnesota PWHL selects Canada’s Claire Thompson with 3rd overall pick

ST. PAUL (KVRR) – The Minnesota franchise of the Professional Women’s Hockey League selected Claire Thompson, a 5’8” defenseman from Team Sonnet.

Thompson hails from Toronto and now joins a Minnesota team looking to defend their 2024 Walter Cup Championship.
