BECKER, Minn. (KVRR)–Fertile-Beltrami wins the Class A Boys Golf Team Championship that concluded Wednesday, June 12.

The tournament took place at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minnesota Tuesday June 11 and Wednesday June 12.

Fertile-Beltrami shot a team score of 627, which was Eight shots fewer than second place finisher Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (635).

The Falcons finished day one with a score of 320, entering day two with a two-shot lead. Their 307 in round two sealed the win.

Individually, senior Mason Nowacki held the best score on the team with an 80 round one and 73 round two. The total score of 153 placed him 10th in Class A.

In 18th in Class A, senior Derek Sorenson shot a total score of 157.

Also finishing in the top-20 was senior Daniel Ivanov. He shot a total score of 158.
