Fundraiser Started For Teen Who Crashed Into Tree on Graduation Night in North Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO UPDATE 9:20 PM) — A GoFundMe has been started for an 18-year-old teen who suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into a tree hours after graduating from Fargo North.
Aden Hanretty received his diploma the evening of June 2 and was hanging out with friends before heading home.
“Four hours later (clean and sober), the boys were all dismantling after hanging out around town and started heading back to their homes as graduates. Aden never made it home,” said the post on GoFundMe.
Hanretty was driving on North University Drive when his van hit a big puddle of water after a heavy rain, hit a tree, and rolled.
The teen is hospitalized in a drug-induced coma.
The GoFundMe page says Hanretty is not out of the woods and will have a long and expensive recovery ahead.
$10,400 has been raised so far.
