Charges filed against teen driver involved in fatal Grand Forks motorcycle crash

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — North Dakota Highway Patrol says charges are filed against the teen driver responsible for a fatal motorcycle crash in Grand Forks.
Since the 17-year-old female driver is a juvenile, their name and the charges will not be released.
The crash that happened after 8 p.m. Saturday, June 15 took the life of 35-year-old Nicholas Minske.
Authorities say the teen failed to stop at the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5.
Minske’s motorcycle ran into the side of the vehicle with three other passengers inside.
He was taken to Altru Hospital where he died from his injuries. A GoFundMe has been set up to support Minske’s family.
