Fergus Falls Police identify driver in fatal motorcycle crash

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR) — Fergus Falls Police say the driver involved a fatal motorcycle crash is 22-year-old Jacob Helms.

Helms crashed into a semi trailer at Lincoln Avenue and I-94 shortly before noon Tuesday.

Witnesses tell police Helms was headed west on Lincoln Avenue when he collided with the rear end of the semi’s trailer.

The semi driver is from South Dakota.

The area was closed off for a few hours while investigators reconstructed the crash.
