Union Rally Held Outside Edgewood Healthcare Headquarters in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Around 40 members of 10 different unions rallied outside Edgewood Healthcare headquarters in downtown Grand Forks in solidarity with union workers in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
They included members of United Steelworkers, allied unions, labor councils and community members.
North Dakota AFL-CIO supplied video of the rally and say workers represented by the United Steelworkers at Edgewood – Sierra Hills assisted living facility in Cheyenne are fighting for a fair contract.
“What do we want? Fair contract! When do we want it? Now! Whose got the power? We got the power. What kind of power? Union power!”
They say management needed a reminder to take negotiations seriously.
Edgewood Healthcare is in 63 communities in 7 states.
