Minnesota Vikings 4th round rookie Khyree Jackson dead after crash in Maryland

MARYLAND (KVRR) – According to the Dr. Henry A. Wise Athletic Dept. in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Khyree Jackson has died. Jackson was a fourth round pick for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Minnesota Vikings posted on X about the passing of Jackson in an overnight car crash.

The athletic dept. acknowledged that two other former players, Anthony Lytton Jr. and Isaiah Hazel, had passed away as well.

“The Dr. Henry A. Wise Athletic Department sends condolences to the families and mourns the loss of Khyree Jackson, Anthony Lytton, Jr. and Isaiah Hazel.” wrote the Dr. Henry A. Wise Athletic Dept. on their X account.

Jackson was drafted 108th overall after playing his college football career at Alabama and Oregon.
