Italian Air Force Aerobatic Team Stops In Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Italian Air Force Aerobatic Team is on its way from Moosejaw, Saskatchewan to the annual Experimental Aircraft Association Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

For the first time ever, the team gave a brief performance over Fargo and stopped for fuel before heading to Oshkosh.

There are 10 pilots flying Italian-built Aermacchi MB-339 jets.

They are headed to the same show where tragically two people died this afternoon in a plane crash about two miles south of the site.

Locally, Fargo AirSho returns to Hector International Airport on July 27 & 28.
