Shooting critically injures man in Moorhead, police searching for suspect

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Police are searching for a suspect after a shooting left a man critically injured Wednesday in south Moorhead.

First responders were called to the 900 block of 18th St. South at around 3:20 a.m.

Officers located an adult male victim in a parking lot with a critical gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center.

Police have been interviewing witnesses and canvassing the neighborhood for possible evidence. A suspect has not been identified, and a gun has not been located.
