Man injured in accidental shooting near Wahpeton
WAHPETON, N.D. (KVRR-KFGO) – A man was injured in an accidental shooting while inside a vehicle in a parking lot at the Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative near Wahpeton.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says the 42-year-old victim is a contracted employee at Minn-Dak.
The man was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge in a private vehicle and then airlifted to Sanford in Fargo.
His name and condition have not been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
