Protesters detained outside of Sen. Klobuchar’s office in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 9) — Protesters were detained after blocking traffic outside of Senator Amy Klobuchar’s office.

Her office is in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Police say they were called to a large protest gathering around 4:30 Wednesday,

Traffic was blocked in both directions on Washington Avenue until early evening.

More than twenty people were cited for failure to obey lawful orders, and then released.

Thousands of protesters formed in Washington yesterday condemning Israel’s war in Gaza.
