WE Fest continues festivities in Detroit Lakes

DETROIT LAKES, MINN. (KVRR) — With its second day running, fest-goers are pumped up for the next performances of Stephen Wilson Jr, Lonestar, Trace Adkins, Carly Pearce, and Parker McCollum .
“I’m so excited to see Carly Pearce. I love her.”
“Yeah me too, we’ve been both talking about that like she’s like the most excited for that out of all days of the artists.”
While fest goers were waiting for the performances to start, businesses like Fireball, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, and others provided chances at winning items like a cowboy hat or merch from their stand.
Even local music duo Lonely Pines, from the Fargo-Moorhead area played some hits such as The Middle by Jimmy Eats World.
“Hi! Hi!”
Fest Goers aren’t the only ones looking forward to WE Fest’s excitement.
“Being a Minnesota resident I came to WE Fest back when I was younger. I knew the audience, I knew the crowd, I knew how big and it was a great great audience for our brand to launch at.”
Lake Cowboy Clothing is one of the many businesses you can find at WE Fest that brings the joy of not just the country within you but within sharing with your peers.
“Yeah, I guess it’s combining two lifestyles. The cowboy lifestyle and the lake lifestyle and putting them together. So I tell people if you enjoy floating on a boat, listening to country music, and hanging out with new friends that’s kind of the lake cowboy lifestyle.”
As the crowds begin to set up their spot for when performers take the stage, seasoned fest goers say to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
“Just have fun, enjoy it and be safe.”
