Community Options Held Third Annual Mental Health Fair
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Community Options, which offers behavioral health programs, held its third annual Parking Lot Party & Resource Fair in Fargo.
It was open to anyone needing help or support for their mental health and wellness.
There was an array of resources available at the fair such as mental health counseling, job advice and medical support.
People who attended were fed and given chances to win prizes from each table.
“Nobody chooses addiction. Nobody chooses to be homeless and as a society a lot of times they’re really looked poorly at. And being able to help people and not give them a hand up, a handout out, but a hand up and really see people succeed and when they have the right support,”said Darcy Severson, lead operations officer.
Community Options has ten offices and offers individualized support in all 53 counties of North Dakota.
