Update: One dead, one injured in shooting at Prairie Heights Church

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – West Fargo police on Saturday morning responded to a report of shots fired at Prairie Heights Church at 319 32nd Avenue E. Upon arrival, officers were informed that an altercation had taken place between three individuals.

During the encounter, one person sustained a gunshot wound. The gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital where the victim was declared dead. The name of the victim was not immediately released.

A second person was transported to a local hospital with severe, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say there is no indication of a threat to the public.
