30th Anniversary Larry Sing Memorial ALS at Moorhead Country Club

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — It’s the 30th anniversary of the Larry Sing Memorial ALS Golf Classic in Moorhead and to support people and families facing ALS.

Their mission has provided individuals with ALS devices that give them the ability to speak as well as working to discover treatment, a cure for ALS, research and advocacy.

The event at Moorhead Country Club gives people the chance to play golf and take part in a silent auction.

“Golf is one of those things that is kind of an equalizer for a lot of people in the business community. And thirty years ago the AG industry came out widely in support of Larry Sing and his journey with ALS and they’ve kept it going for decades now,” said Erin Hill, development director.

Since the event began in 1995, it has raised over two million dollars for the ALS Association.
