Kellogg’s partners with Cash Wise to give money to local schools.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Local middle schools in Fargo are getting a boost to their sports programs thanks to Tony the Tiger.

Kellogg’s partnered with Cash Wise for its “Mission Tiger” to help give money to local schools.

Twelve schools across the state of North Dakota received money including three in Fargo.

$12,000 dollars in total was presented to the local schools.

Leaders from each school say they are honored to be chosen and believe middle school sports are very important.

“Its a really cool honor, and our kids are gonna benefit from it. At the end of the day that’s what its about. Its about supporting them and I love the mission with Kellogg’s here and wanted to help and continue to support athletics at the middle school level,” said Brian Marcus the Carl Ben Eielson Assistant Principal.

The three middle schools chosen were Carl Ben Eielson, Discovery, and Ben Franklin.
