Island Park Show features crafts and homemade goods

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Parks gave people a chance over the weekend to enjoy the weather, and connect with their favorite local vendors.

The Island Park Show featured over 100 vendors selling crafts and homemade goods throughout the park.

Charlene and Rolland Barrie of Char’s Kitchen traveled up from their home in Turton, South Dakota, a trip they’ve been making for over a decade.

They say shows like this have allowed them to build a loyal customer base, who are always looking for their stand at events.

“They say “well we’ve been looking for you.” They want more jelly.”

“Or pickles, there’s one man that’s like “Oh you’re always out of pickles when I get here, do you still have some?” and I said, “Well, we brought a lot of them this time.”

Fargo Parks still has more outdoor events scheduled for people to get out and enjoy the parks. You can find a link to their event schedule here.
