Man Arrested After Climbing Onto Roof of H.E. Everson in Devils Lake

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A man is facing trespassing charges after climbing onto the roof of H.E. Everson in Devils Lake.

Officers were called to the store Sunday for a report of a man on the roof.

Police called the fire department for a ladder and the man was able to get down on his own.

Police say he was sweating profusely and told them he had taken meth a few days before.

The man was booked into Lake Region Law Enforcement Center.

Jail records show 32-year-old August Goodbird Jr. was booked on Sunday for criminal trespass and parole and probation violations.
