All-Clear Given at Alerus Center After Suspicious Device Found in Parking Lot

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — The all-clear has been given at Alerus Center in Grand Forks following a lockdown.

Grand Forks Police say it was caused by a suspicious device dropped off in the parking lot by a white SUV around 1:30 p.m.

Grand Forks Regional BOMB Team was activated.

It was determined that the device was a concrete pressure meter, which posed no threat to the public.

Police say at this time, there is no known further information available to release to the public regarding the suspect vehicle.

It is an open and ongoing investigation.
