FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) –A clinical researcher from Sanford Health and the Parkinson’s Foundation have teamed up to host the Moving Day Community Walk this Saturday.

It’s a national event every year to support people with Parkinson’s.

The foundation raises money from donations to support research to find a cure and help families.

This year the event made its way to Fargo with the assistance of Jessica Keller, a Clinical Researcher of Parkinson’s at Sanford.

Keller and the team at Sanford have been looking at fatigue and cognitive impairments.

“Movement is one of the best ways to help manage and alleviate Parkinson’s disease. So, getting up moving on a Saturday seemed like a very apt kind of event to start for the community,” said Jessica Keller.

The event will take place outside at Family Wellness starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
