Fargo man arrested for burglarizing assisted living facility, CVS early Friday

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A man is arrested for burglary after stealing items from rooms at The Meadows Assisted Living in Fargo and CVS.
Court documents show residents told officers that 36-year-old Zachary Payne entered a number of rooms at The Meadows around 4:15 in the morning Friday.
A short time later, police responded to CVS on 13th Avenue South and saw Payne on a bike and detained him.
Officers found stolen cell phones from CVS, a laptop, iPad, and medication that belonged to an occupational therapist at The Meadows, medical supplies, and food.
He is charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief and has a long criminal record.
