UND soccer ends with a tie after giving up two late goals

TULSA, OK (KVRR) – The University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks soccer program saw their two-goal lead vanish Thursday night against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in the last three minutes. ORU scored with a penalty kick with 1:10 left on the clock in the second half to force the 2-2 tie.

UND’s defense faced pressure throughout the game, seeing 14 shots on goal. Grace Miller had 11 saves on the night, but couldn’t stop Oral Roberts from stealing away the win.

The Fighting Hawks (0-0-1) will stay on the road this weekend when they take on the Denver Pioneers (1-0-0) in Colorado at 2 p.m.
