MSUM Dragons take down #18 Augustana with a late field goal

MOORHEAD (KVRR) – Another weekend where the MSUM Dragons football program find a way to take down a ranked opponent in dramatic fashion. This time the Dragons picked up a 43-41 win over #18 Augustana behind a 40-yard field goal from Max Watson with a little over a minute left in the game.

Jack Stand continues to put up unreal numbers at quarterback, leading MSUM with 475 yards passing and five touchdowns.

MSUM have started conference play 2-0 and will head to Winona to take on the Warriors on October 5 at 1 p.m.
