Woman injured in car-semi collision in Hawley

HAWLEY, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – A Hawley woman was taken to a Fargo hospital after a collision between the car she was driving and a semi on Highway 10 in Hawley Friday morning.

The State Patrol says Elizabeth Ahles, 74, didn’t yield for westbound traffic and turned onto the highway, causing the collision. Sanford AirMed responded to the scene along with Hawley Police and Fire, The Hawley Emergency Response Team, and Clay County deputies. The semi driver wasn’t hurt.

The patrol says Ahles’ injuries are not considered life-threatening. The crash occurred shortly before 7.
