Federal Gun Charges Filed Against Man Involved in Deadly Fargo Shooting

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Federal gun charges are now filed against Amire Logan after state charges were dropped.
He faces four counts related to having firearms as a felon and drug addict, and one count of removing the serial number of a gun.
Logan was arrested after the shooting death of Zion Brooks in June outside The Arbors apartment complex in south Fargo.
Brooks also had a gun at the time of the shooting.
Logan was arrested again in a September traffic stop where police found a gun in his backpack, with the serial number scratched off.
He also had cocaine and marijuana.
If convicted, Logan faces up to 15 years in prison on each federal count.
